Personal
Biography
"My approach as a psychologist is interactive. I use coaching methods and work with individuals to make change and to move them through difficult transitions and emotional states. I take great care to meet the therapeutic needs of each individual, couple or family. My original training was in the area of the mind-body connection. Over my 25 years as a psychologist, this mind/body approach has become an integral part of my work with my patients. I treat issues, such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties,post-traumatic stess and eating disorders. I also run a weekly eating disorder group.
My
goal as a psychologist is to help people feel better about themselves,
to create a stronger support system, to improve relationships and
to have a more fulfilling life. I also focus on helping people to
develop greater resiliency so that transitions and life challenges
become more successfully managed.
In short, my objective is to help people better understand themselves and to help them develop skills and strategies so that they feel more connected, balanced, and optimistic."
