Artist Gina Jrel offers this exciting collage art workshop for those who would like to learn to tap into, and create a piece of art, based on personal feelings and experiences. If your mind is full of ideas and you'd like to learn to express them through the creation of art, this workshop is for you!

Gina will guide students through a journey that translates ideas and feelings from the head and heart to an artistic, visual creation. Focus on a warm memory. Address an issue that's hard to talk about. Articulate goals, wishes or dreams. Find peace with an unresolved issue.

There is no prior artistic experience necessary. Just bring your positive attitude, sense of adventure and a willingness to try something new and creative. All supplies will be provided. Participants are invited to bring any magazines, paper, photographs or other paper images they wish to use to further personalize their creations.

About Gina

A painter for 32 years, Jrel earned her B.F.A. from the Kansas City Art Institute. Her work has been displayed in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Kansas City, St. George, Cedar City, Kayenta, Springdale, Salt Lake City, and at the National Stationery Show in New York City. Her murals and paintings adorn walls, floors and ceilings throughout the southwestern United States. Her artwork has been licensed for use by corporations throughout the country, and her fine art is owned in private collections worldwide.
